Ich hoffe euch gehts gut.
Heute wollte ich mal wieder einen etwas anderen Post schreiben und zwar möchte ich euch meine Meinung über den diejährigen österreichischen Songcontestbeitrag mitteilen.
Wie ihr wisst, findet der Songcontest heuer in Österreich statt. Ich war damals bei der Aufzeichnung für die Vorentscheidung dabei und habe auch eien Post darüber geschrieben. Schon da war für mich klar, dass ich möchte, dass The Makemakes Österreich dieses Jahr vertreten. Natürlich weiß ich, dass wir heuer nicht wieder gewinnen werden, aber ich finde die Band ziemlich cool und auch passend für den Songcontest. Es waren beim Vorentscheid viele gute Beiträge, aber ich muss sagen, dass nicht jeder Beitrag passend für den Songcontest war. Jedenfalls ist es nun beschlossen, The Makemakes vertreten uns dieses Jahr.
Ihr Songcontestlied heißt "I'm yours" und es ist wirklich sehr, sehr schön. Es gibt viele Behauptungen, es wäre nur eine Kopie von One Repupclic' The Scientist, aber jetzt mal ehrlich: es wird nie ein Lied geben, dass keinem anderen Lied ähnelt. Man muss auch bedenken, dass die Künstler von Produzenten unterstützt wurden, welche schon mit vielen berühmten Künstlern zusammengearbeitet haben. Dass da auch mal der ein oder andere Ton aus einem anderen Lied stammt, ist vorherzusehen. Jedenfalls gefällt mir das Lied richtig gut. Für mich ist es eine Mischung aus "Queen" und den typischen Fernsehserienliedern. Ich denke, dass wir noch viel von The Makemakes hören werden. :)

Today I wanted to write a different post. I want to tell you my opinion about the songcontest contribution for this year.
As you now, the songcontest this year is in Austria. I was at the preliminary decision show and wrote a post about it. Soon I knew that, for me, The Makemakes are the best. I mean I know that there's less chance for Austria to win the songcontest this year again, but the band is really cool and perfect for the songcontest and now we know that they will represent our country in the contest.
Their song is calles "I'm yours" and it's a really beautiful song. Some people claim, that the song is a copy of The Scientist by One Repuplic, but to be honest: there never will be a song that isn't similar to another song. There also should be mentioned, that The Makemakes worked together with producent, which also worked with many famous artist before. It's normal that then some notes are the same like in other songs. Nevertheless, for me it's a beautiful song and there's something from "Queen" and thoes typical tv series songs in it. I think, that we'll hear a lot about The Makemakes in future. :)
